Predict The Oscars Contest Information
Our Oscar contest is weighted so people who
don't “live” the movies have a fighting chance to win.
Almost one third of the points are awarded to the top four categories and
based on history, most of the films nominated for these will still
be at the theatres in January. You can read the full <?php /* */ ?>
for the game by following the link and
the values assigned by award are shown below.
There have been no
changed to the point values for 2008 although there is a new tie
breaker method. Along with your predictions you will enter
the title of the film you think will win the most awards and the
number it will win. The person who correctly picks the film
and is closest to the number of awards (over or under) will be
declared the winner. If multiple people with the highest
point score also tie on the tie breaker question the winner will
be selected by random drawing. The purpose of this change is
to take he random element out of determining the winner as much as
possible.
