Predict The Oscars Contest Information

Our Oscar contest is weighted so people who don't “live” the movies have a fighting chance to win.  Almost one third of the points are awarded to the top four categories and based on history, most of the films nominated for these will still be at the theatres in January.  You can read the full rules for the game by following the link and the values assigned by award are shown below.  

For 2007 we've adjusted the points for a few of the categories.  Nothing huge but since almost 20% of our contestants last year were from outside the US we've increased the value for Best Foreign Language Film to 5.  We've also bumped the Best Documentary Feature to 3 so the only 2 point awards are for the short subject films.  Not that I don't care about these but very few of us get to see any of them!
